Sandra has created a hand beaded bezel to encase the stone she has chosen as the centepiece of this art brooch. There are antique beads as well as contemporary beads used in this work. The base for the beading is a non-woven poly-mesh. The work is finished with an Ultrasuede backing and more hand worked beads, and the pin has a siverplated, pin mechanism. It measures approx. 1 7/8" by 2".
