Sandra has applied a Hand Beaded bezel to the unusual stone used as the centepiece of this art brooch. Vintage and new beads were used in this piece. The base for the beading is a non-woven poly-mesh. The work is finished with an Ultrasuede backing and more hand worked beads, and the pin has a gold plated, locking, pin mechanism. It measures approx. 1 1/2" by 1 7/8".
