Hand woven, this red stole has a warp of 100% silk, and a custom twined weft of 55% rayon, 30% silk, and 15% wool. The lining, a manufactured 100% silk Habatoi, is hand painted specifically for this piece. The crosses are inlaid with variegated hand-dyed silk and metallic threads. The stole measures a total of 5" by 102", including an 8" fringe, which can be trimmed to suit. There is a lovely tassle at the center of the back and the piece is elegantly shaped at the neck for an excellent fit. The finish work on the lining is beautifully hand sewn.
