This Bible Marker, or Lectern Hanging is hand woven, using a modified Theo Moorman technique, with a wool/alpaca blend in warp, the supplimentary warp in 100% silk, and the weft in wool crepe. The designs are woven with a combination of silk, rayon, linen, cotton, and wool yarns, some of which were custom dyed for this project. The lining is 100% Habatoi silk, a manufactured fabric. The hanging is hand finished and measures 4 1/2" by 40" with the fringe, which can be trimmed, if a shorter length is needed.
